Job Description

The Education Program Supervisor (MAPEH) provides technical supervision and leadership in the implementation of the K–12 MAPEH curriculum (Music, Arts, Physical Education, and Health). The position ensures quality instruction, teacher capability development, program monitoring, and improved learner performance across public schools within the division or region.

Duties and Responsibilities

A. Curriculum Supervision

  1. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the K–12 MAPEH curriculum.
  2. Conduct classroom observations and school visits.
  3. Review instructional plans, assessment tools, and learning materials.
  4. Ensure compliance with DepEd policies, standards, and guidelines.

B. Technical Assistance

  1. Provide mentoring and coaching to MAPEH teachers and school heads.
  2. Facilitate Learning Action Cells (LACs) and subject-area meetings.
  3. Assist schools in developing and implementing improvement plans.

C. Program Planning and Development

  1. Develop and implement division-level programs for music, arts, sports, and health education.
  2. Coordinate division sports meets, cultural events, and wellness initiatives.
  3. Recommend interventions based on performance data and identified needs.

D. Monitoring and Evaluation

  1. Analyze learner achievement data in MAPEH.
  2. Prepare technical reports, accomplishment reports, and recommendations.
  3. Conduct research and validation activities to improve program delivery.

E. Training and Capacity Building

  1. Plan and organize INSETs, workshops, and seminars related to MAPEH.
  2. Serve as resource speaker or facilitator in relevant trainings.
  3. Promote innovative and inclusive teaching strategies.



Qualifications Standard

Master's degree in education or other relevant degree; Master's degree with specific area of specialization

E. Photocopy of Certificate of Eligibility/Rating*
F. Photocopy of scholastic/academic record such as but not limited to Transcript of Record (TOR) and Diploma, including completion of graduate and post-graduate units/degrees*
G. Photocopy of Certificate/s of Training*
H. Photocopy of Certificate of Employment, Contract of Service, or duly signed Service Record*
I. Photocopy of laters appointment*
J. Photocopy of Performance Rating in the last rating period(s) covering one (1) year performance in the current/latest position prior to the deadline of submission, if applicable
K. Checklist of Requirements and Omnibus Sworn Statement on the Certification on the Authenticity and Veracity (CAV) of the documents submitted and Data Privacy Consent pursuant to RA No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012), using the attached Form (Annex A) or (https://bit.ly/Annex-A-checklistofrequirements), notarized by an authorized official (2 copies)*
L. Means of Verification (MOVs) showing Outstanding Accomplishments, application of Education, and Application of Learning and Development reckoned from the Date of last issuance of appointment
