Job Description

The Chief Education Supervisor leads and manages a team of Education Program Supervisors and specialists to ensure effective implementation of national education policies, curriculum standards, and quality assurance systems in accordance with DepEd guidelines.


Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Curriculum & Instruction Oversight

  1. Supervise implementation of the K–12 Curriculum.
  2. Monitor learning delivery across public schools.
  3. Ensure alignment with DepEd standards and national frameworks.
  4. Lead curriculum evaluation and enhancement initiatives.

2. Supervision & Management

  1. Directly supervise Education Program Supervisors and unit personnel.
  2. Conduct performance management and coaching.
  3. Provide technical assistance to School Heads and teachers.
  4. Recommend staffing actions and professional development plans.

3. Policy Implementation

  1. Ensure compliance with DepEd Orders, Memoranda, and national policies.
  2. Lead division/regional monitoring and evaluation activities.
  3. Prepare technical reports for the Regional Director or Schools Division Superintendent.

4. Program Planning & Development

  1. Develop operational plans aligned with the Division Education Development Plan (DEDP).
  2. Oversee program budgeting and resource allocation.
  3. Analyze performance data (e.g., NAT, assessment results) to guide interventions.

5. Quality Assurance

  1. Conduct school visits, validation activities, and performance reviews.
  2. Lead corrective actions for underperforming schools.
  3. Coordinate with external partners when necessary.

H. Photocopy of Certificate of Employment, Contract of Service, or duly signed Service Record*
I. Photocopy of laters appointment*
J. Photocopy of Performance Rating in the last rating period(s) covering one (1) year performance in the current/latest position prior to the deadline of submission, if applicable
K. Checklist of Requirements and Omnibus Sworn Statement on the Certification on the Authenticity and Veracity (CAV) of the documents submitted and Data Privacy Consent pursuant to RA No. 10173 (Data Privacy Act of 2012), using the attached Form (Annex A) or (https://bit.ly/Annex-A-checklistofrequirements), notarized by an authorized official (2 copies)*
L. Means of Verification (MOVs) showing Outstanding Accomplishments, application of Education, and Application of Learning and Development reckoned from the Date of last issuance of appointment
M. Barangay Certificate or Comelec Registration
