Job Description

The Administrative Officer II provides technical and administrative support in areas such as Human Resource Management (HRM), Records, Supply/Property, Finance, or General Administration to ensure efficient office operations and compliance with government rules and DepEd policies.


Duties and Responsibilities

A. Human Resource Management (if assigned to HR)

  1. Process appointments, promotions, transfers, and other personnel actions.
  2. Maintain and update employee 201 files and HR databases.
  3. Assist in recruitment, screening, and documentation of applicants.
  4. Prepare reports related to staffing and personnel status.

B. Records & Documentation

  1. Maintain and safeguard official records and confidential documents.
  2. Prepare certifications, service records, and related documents.
  3. Ensure proper filing and records management system.

C. Supply & Property (if assigned)

  1. Maintain inventory of supplies, equipment, and property.
  2. Prepare requisition and issuance slips.
  3. Conduct periodic inventory and reconciliation of property records.

D. Financial/Administrative Support

  1. Assist in preparation of payroll documents and financial reports.
  2. Process disbursement vouchers and other supporting documents.
  3. Provide logistical support for meetings, trainings, and events.

E. General Office Administration

  1. Draft basic correspondence and reports.
  2. Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
  3. Perform other administrative functions as assigned.

L. Means of Verification (MOVs) showing Outstanding Accomplishments, application of Education, and Application of Learning and Development reckoned from the Date of last issuance of appointment
